Teaching will be assigned at both the North and Lakeshore campuses and may include teaching at the International Graduate School (Toronto).The incumbent will also support student advising, student recruitment, graduate placement, assist with the promotion and marketing of programs and develop and maintain strong industry ties.QualificationsWhat you bring to the role:EducationThe successful candidate will have a post-graduate degree, PhD or Master’s (MFA preferred) in cinema and media production or related discipline.Experience and SkillsIndustry acumen and experience is required, experience and demonstrated ability to teach a number of courses offered by the college, along with specialized skills in the following areas: history, theory and practice of cinematography, introductory to advanced, both digital and analog; technical and artistic experience with camera, lighting, grip, and colour grading equipment, software, and technologies; visual storytelling for narrative, documentary, and other media; knowledge of immersive and emergent technologies an asset.
