This responsibility extends to reinforcing the value product management brings to business units and markets, leading product management delivery by example, enhancing team operations, implementing best practices, and nurturing a culture of creativity and innovation.In this role, you will work to ensure that the firm’s software products and its features deliver maximum business value through direct and tactical oversight of your product’s KPIs, commercial and usage targets, and alignment to business and client needs, as well as the establishment of product visions, roadmaps, and practices as you lead cross-functional teams to drive initiatives along each product’s lifecycle.It is expected that you are familiar and interested in product management best practices, as well as comfortable working cross-functionally with other Products & Technology Leaders, PwC Partners, and teammates, and external vendors to prioritize work against business needs (e.g. marketing, commercialization, compliance, security).Meaningful work you’ll be part ofAs an Intermediate Product Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define, prioritize, and deliver the vision and strategy for your product
  • Drive the ideation, development, and launch of new features while considering user experience and retention
  • Navigate uncertainty and synthesize actionable problems from qualitative and quantitative data
  • Engage with engineers about architecture and technical considerations that impact products
  • Develop and meet success criteria, product KPIs, and make trade-offs to maximize business value
  • Collaborate closely with other Product Managers to deliver a holistic experience to stakeholders
  • Support Product Managers in ensuring engagement with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues as well as technology trends
  • Develop internal relationships and build your personal brand
  • Flex into different roles to support the team as needed

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Experience in a product, business, consulting, or IT management capacity
  • Relevant experience contributing to the success of B2B or B2C products loved by users
  • Knowledge of designing, developing, and commercializing digital software products
  • Skill in creating roadmaps and managing backlog/requirements utilizing prioritization planning
  • Ability to conduct competitor analyses and develop preliminary business cases
  • Experience with user stories, persona building, and user research methodologies
  • Capability in designing engaging user experiences for desktop, web, or mobile applications
  • Strong passion for product and business management
  • Flexibility and prioritization skills to manage time and multi-task efficiently
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities for automation

PwC BC Region Pay Range InformationThe salary range* for this position is $69,600 – $116,100 plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.*Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
