The Intern, Distribution Coordination will perform analysis and research of existing delivery operations with a focus on service improvement, productivity improvements and cost control. The intern is responsible for data gathering and analysis, process mapping, time studies and simulation of results. This opportunity will support operational decision making and contribute to service delivery and cost improvements to support our customer promise.
The Internship Program will begin on May 13th and end August 16th, 2024.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER…
Route Balancing for day to day to avoid overload and extra routes.
Help coordinate Distribution & Route audit tasks, monitoring for driver error.
Manage drivers’ queries including HH
YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU…
Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Financial or a related field (Second or third year undergrad or first year Master students);
Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community;
Have previous related internship experience (an asset);
Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative;
Ability to model operational problems effectively;
Have strong oral and written communication skills;
Master Office suite programs and applications, especially Excel;
Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
