You have an opportunity. To bring your energy, innovative approach and creativity to help bring the best medicines to patients. You will also be able to learn more about the exciting and dynamic world of the pharmaceutical industry through exposure to different business areas. The successful candidate will work closely with the Canadian Operations and Capabilities team and with the broader Medical Affairs cross-functional team. The projects you will support will enhance our field medical capabilities and ensure proper execution of tactical plans for marketed and pipeline medicines. In supporting bringing new medicines to Canadian patients, the responsibilities may include but are not limited to, development of standards of practice, streamlining team communications, supporting consultancy meeting management and collaborating with multiple functional areas. The successful candidate will be inspired by the challenge and look to new initiatives to incorporate a digital approach to innovate in our way of working, and to best position our medical team for the future.

What you can expect:

Specifically, Medical Affairs, Operations & Capabilities Intern is responsible for:

Exploring available digital solutions to enhance field medical productivity and external collaborations.

Supporting consultancy meeting management and scientific exchange meeting planning and execution

Developing business solutions to track field medical activities and develop partnerships with scientific experts in alignment with all Lilly Canada SOPs.

Contributing to Medical Affairs team meetings to ensure timely training and launch of new capabilities.

Improving SharePoint site usage by broader Medical Affairs team.

Who we are looking for:

Education and qualifications

Working towards undergraduate degree in Life Sciences. Must be returning to school in the fall.

Learning agility, collaborative approach, team player attitude

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong Microsoft office skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

Title: Senior Java Developer
