Job description: DescriptionPosition at EssenceMediacomOverview:The Investment Negotiator (Media Buyer) is responsible for the overall execution and management of their assigned client’s investment requirements, purchasing and monitoring all assigned campaigns to ensure all objectives are met. They are also responsible for the overall execution and management of their clients’ investment requirements. The role will include providing leadership, fostering teamwork, maintaining a level of involvement in all accounts in the group and encouraging the highest quality investment product and client satisfactionYour Impact:

• Communicate buy changes to vendor reps e.g.: cancellations, shifts, brand changes
• Maintenance of campaign executions e.g.: pacing, make goods and pre-emption
• Invoice discrepancy resolution
• Inputting/uploading campaigns – broadcast & digital
• Generating campaign reports – including pre and post documents, Masterfiles
• Daily campaign maintenance
• Corporate estimating and posting
• Execution, confirmation and monitoring of investment buys
• Maintenance of clients’ monthly media expenditures (budget control reports)
• Use Mediacom Proprietary tool and other measurement software (Numeris)

Your Qualifications:

• Driven desire to develop and excel in a media career
• Strong attention to detail with highly developed organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated solid technical and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate within a team framework and environment
• Positive, flexible attitude with ability to balance assignments and work under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MediaOcean, Infosys, Airware, TV/BBM, and other media related tools
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in investment buying
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Business or a related field.

The Investment Negotiator (Media Buyer) at EssenceMediacom is responsible for managing and executing their assigned client’s investment requirements, purchasing and monitoring campaigns to meet objectives. They communicate with vendor reps, resolve invoice discrepancies, input/upload campaigns, generate reports, and maintain campaign executions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication and negotiation skills, and can work well in a team environment. They should have 1-2 years of experience in investment buying and a degree/diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field.
