Job Description: Junior UI/UX Designer (Temp-to-Hire)

Department: Marketing
Pay Range: $32.00 – $40.00/hour
Schedule: Hybrid (Monday – Friday)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior UI/UX Designer to join our marketing team on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces across multiple platforms and devices. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining and enhancing our brand’s digital presence and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Implementation: Develop and implement responsive designs that provide seamless user experiences across various platforms and devices.
• Brand Consistency: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure that all digital assets align with our brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel.
• User Research: Assist in conducting user research and testing to gain insights into user behavior and preferences, informing design decisions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Feedback Iteration: Participate in design reviews and be open to feedback, refining designs to meet both user needs and business objectives.
• Collaboration: Work alongside developers and other team members to ensure that designs are translated effectively into functional products.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant design work is a must.
