Kitchen Manager

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to supervise daily back of house restaurant operations. The Kitchen Manager should be able to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and provide leadership to kitchen staff. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing creative and innovative ideas.
Responsibilities:
– Manage, mentor, and train kitchen staff
– Oversee food preparation and cooking activities
– Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
– Maintain inventory and control costs
– Create and modify menus to meet customer needs
– Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth restaurant operation
– Promote and maintain a positive work environment
– Regularly inspect food and beverage supplies and equipment
– Set and maintain high standards for food quality and consistency
– Monitor and implement kitchen best practices
Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager
– Excellent leadership and organizational skills
– Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations
– Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
– Up-to-date with culinary trends and best practices
– Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
– Certification from a culinary school is a plus
