These include but are not limited to New Brand development and KPMG firmwide brand guidance, National campaigns, Creative strategy, Digital & Multimedia, Business collateral and Event design to name a few. Any print or digital materials produced by our firm nationally are developed by our Creative team. All ideation, consultation and conceptual development are part of the core foundation of this team’s mandate. We help strengthen KPMG’s brand reputation in the public eye and ensure we stand out from the competition. Our visual solutions help to communicate our message in a clear, compelling way which in turn ultimately helps to provide knowledge and insights to both our current and potential future clients.
What you will do

  • Acts as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador for the creative team, while remaining flexible and adaptable in order to execute on high priority projects for our internal clients
  • Collaborate with internal clients to develop innovative solutions from scoping, conceptualization, production, quality assurance to final launch
  • Execute larger tiered initiatives and campaigns to build image, drive differentiation and in turn generate sales leads across KPMG’s various functions
  • Manage project deliverables for the creative team and mentor members by providing guidance on any issues or queries related to relationship management, creative direction or project timelines
  • Provide feedback on Creative concepts and review artwork where needed
  • Ensure high standards for all deliverables, including mandates around brand compliance
  • Drive and facilitate training and development plans for our team, ensuring there is continuous learning and growth
  • Triaging and vetting new Creative requests and ensuring they are following our SLAs and intake requirements
  • Managing the team pipeline and ensuring that workload is balanced fairly and new requests are assigned to team members based on capacity and skillset
  • Working with stakeholders to offer alternative solutions when a request is out of scope for the team
  • Acting as a mentor and performance manager to a small team of designers
  • Continue to build and share knowledge around best practices by staying informed and champion for our SLAs and any new process’ being implemented
  • Act as main liaison between our internal clients and third-party vendors to make sure end results are high quality outputs, consistent with KPMG’s brand
  • Create a positive and collaborative culture for the team that exhibits high performance

What you bring to the role

  • 7+ years’ experience in a marketing professional services, and/or creative agency environment
  • Post-Secondary Education in Graphic Design or relevant field
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a partnership culture.
  • Experience in conceptualization, solution development, campaign execution and client relationship management
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and basic After Effects, Premium Pro understanding.
  • Expertise in MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. Comfortable in PC environment
  • Experience with storyboarding and basic knowledge on video editing and animation with a digital first approach
  • Basic to intermediate working knowledge of motion graphics and custom animations
  • Knowledge of creative, social and web design, consistently bringing innovative solutions and delivering client service excellence
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions. Open to collaboration and constructive feedback
  • Proven problem-solving skills, detail oriented, ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous people or team management experience
  • Knowledge of UI/UX concepts
  • This position requires written and oral fluency in English.

  • The expected base salary range for this position is $72,500 – $116,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
