Job description: The Manager, Digital & Strategic Initiatives is responsible for supporting the Director, Marketing & Digital Strategy in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of the Canada Marketing Plan and Digital Transformation across Canada Segment. This includes working closely with leaders in Canada Segment on strategy planning and reporting. This role will also be responsible for working closely with other Segment leads and functional groups to track and ensure delivery against Digital KPIs in alignment with the Global Digital Transformation Strategy. In this capacity you work with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital experiences are optimized and aligned with our business objectives.Key Accountabilities:

  • Digital Transformation Program Oversight – Build ongoing view of the program KPIs, business commentary, outcome tracking of any issues, risks and blockers requiring immediate action or intervention
  • Marketing Enablement & Reporting – Support Director in enabling the Marketing Plan in Canada including monthly reporting, facilitating leadership / team meetings and ensuring plans and objectives are integrated across segment
  • Crafting executive level reporting – Develop presentations and reports to communicate progress, achievements and challenges related to programs and ability to meet business objectives
  • Work with channels to collect and synthesize information to support leadership decision-making – Support the coordination and management of projects including follow ups on additional information required from project managers/ product leads based on asks from the global or segment leadership teams
  • Digital roadmap delivery – partner with Functional groups, Business Units and Customer Experience teams to refine, improve, update, and promote successful delivery of digital roadmaps
  • Identify areas for process and technology improvements – partner with key business and technology partners/stakeholders to enable process and technology improvements that will enable the right customer experience to meet business goals
  • Advocate for continuous improvement and learning – Work collaboratively with the other segment and Global teams to proactively share information and foster continued learning and development, facilitating continuous improvement

What we are looking for:

  • 6+ years relevant – preferably in the financial services, wealth management or insurance industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with proven ability to engage stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
  • Confirmed digital acumen and experience in prioritizing and handling multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to facilitate and enable clear, succinct communication between cross-functional partners
  • Strong relationship-building skills to build effective working relationships with partners in business units and business leaders
  • Ability to identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement across the program
  • Excellent comprehension, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Highly organized and ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility to lead multiple and challenging priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP will be a plus
  • Experience working on large scale digital transformation programs will be a plus – preferably with a dynamic global team
  • A natural curiosity and drive to understand and learn unfamiliar areas
