Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong.The ole:The PC Optimum Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager, Partnerships (12 month contract, maternity leave cover) to own full-funnel marketing strategies that support PC Optimum’s key external partnerships. This portfolio requires a high degree of attention to detail, organization, and ability to collaborate as part of a high-performing team passionate about driving shared objectives forward.The successful candidate will have experience developing customer-focused campaigns at scale in paid and owned channels. This person will own campaign strategy & execution, brief internal creative teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver campaign reporting. This is a unique opportunity for exposure across the enterprise, working closely with the PC Optimum business team to drive results.Note: This role currently requires in-office presence 4 days a week at the downtown Loblaw office, 500 Lake Shore Blvd. West.What you’ll do:
- Lead Partnerships Marketing strategy, owning the development and execution of annual marketing plans for each partner to support shared business goals
- Strategically partner with cross-functional grocery & pharmacy divisions to develop collaborative brand campaigns, driving enterprise convergence and partnership marketing messaging in their channels
- Collaborate within the PC Optimum marketing team, cross-functional groups and external partners, including Digital Messaging, Loblaw Agency, and Loblaw Media to execute and bring cohesive campaigns to market
- Develop customer-focused, insightful creative briefs that inspire internal and external agencies, considering the appropriate channels and tactics to support the customer throughout their journey
- Be the Partnership Marketing lead for major, enterprise-wide initiatives such as Points Days and Summer/Holiday Insiders, identifying opportunities
- Review creative and manage multiple stakeholders’ feedback in a timely and efficient manner
- Handle projects through all internal processes ensuring they are organized and on track including legal review, translations, workback schedule development etc.
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives, brand objectives, strategies and KPIs for both PC Optimum and partners
- Pitch opportunities rooted in insights by staying close to trends and monitoring the competitive environment, improving current and future marketing initiatives for each partner
- Bring a perspective on how new tests and learns can be implemented, measured and scaled to support the needs of each partner
- Report on campaign performance and regular marketing recaps to partners highlighting what’s worked, not worked and area of opportunities
- Manage and mentor one direct team member, a Partnership Marketing Specialist, and be a positive contributor to the larger PC Optimum Marketing team
Role Requirements:
- University or college degree in business, marketing or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
- 4+ years of meaningful work experience in partnership marketing, loyalty marketing, CPG/grocery marketing, or customer-based management role would be an asset
- Experience navigating teams in a large, matrixed organization
- Strategic and results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills
- Organized, with the ability to move quickly within a fast-paced environment
- Resourceful, self-starter and proactive
- Strong written and verbal communication to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- An aptitude for data and insights with abilities to analyze data to provide key insights to inform marketing decisions
- Good judgment and experience in the development of creative/communications, including brand standards, with a keen eye for detail
