Job description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Communications co-op/intern to support our HRC LT conference. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience on a fast-paced communications team. The intern will learn about event planning, creating integrated communications plans, and managing social media content and administration.Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of the Human Resources Communications Leadership Team conference, including logistical coordination and preparation of materials.
- Participate in ongoing social media audits, analyze strategies, and compile findings to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of regular communications plans and collaborate with team members to create effective communication strategies.
- Draft and edit communications materials, ensuring clarity and engagement for various audiences and platforms.
- Support the creation and management of social media content, ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand and goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks and materials.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and basic understanding of social media strategies and governance.
