Responsibilities also include digital quality control and maintainingwebsite best practices, as well as the opportunity to write and produce original content for Mediaplanet’s digital content hubs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to weekly social brainstorms (strategy, ideas, analytics)
- Research social media trends
- Add to and maintain our social media calendar
- Community management (responding to comments, multi-touch method, producing high-quality, SEO-focused Headlines
- Collecting analytical data through Google Analytics
- Support with producing client-facing final reports
- Assist production team with the management and execution of online content including the creation of additional webpage elements
- Ensure that launch of content occurs on-schedule and adheres to quality standards
- Attend meetings with members of the sales and production teams to ensure digital components of campaigns launch on schedule
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Student pursing a degree or certificate in Communications, Marketing, Creative Industries, or Digital Media
- Experience using Google Drive (Docs, Sheets)
- Experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Experience using social media platforms, specifically: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Knowledge in translating long-form content to short-form
- Creative mind with a knack for storytelling
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Canadian Press Stylebook
- Familiarity reaching out to influencers on social media
- Experience building a social media following for a brand or business
- Knowledge of branding foundations and design skills
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma & WordPress
- Experience using Mailchimp
- Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
- Experience with Content Management Software (CMS) – WordPress
