Job Description

The MKTG Sports & Entertainment Consulting Team is looking for someone to join our fast-growing Influencer Marketing team. We want someone who will help lead a team-focused on influencer led activations and campaigns for our clients.

As an Account Manager, you will play a role in the end-to-end process on your assigned account(s), from the initial strategy to securing the talent and measuring the performance of the partnerships on behalf of the brand. You will report to an associate director. This is a hybrid, in-office/remote role in Toronto or Montreal.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Influencer Marketing: Research and recommend ambassadors and influencers for client campaigns, events, and long-term partnerships
  • Project Management: Set priorities and contribute to resource planning
  • Analysis: Deliver competitive landscapes that identify strategic whitespace opportunities that align with client objectives
  • Contract Development: Support in the negotiations and contract development of partnership agreements
  • Client Management: Manage client accounts, including leading communications with clients, properties, and agents
  • Problem Solving: Identify industry best practices and provide recommendations for practical applications with our client partnerships and activations
  • Creative Mindset: Participate in client brainstorms, creative briefs, and activation concepts
  • Informed: Maintain current knowledge of social media platforms and industry trends

Qualifications

  • University Degree preferred and experience within social media, talent partnerships, influencer marketing
  • 3-5 years of related industry experience (property or agency-side experience).
  • Understanding of social media and ability to self-produce and edit content across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Identify trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape, especially emerging social tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of the social media landscape, including talent and brand partnerships
  • Creative with a sense of what is resonating well online

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $63,750-$75,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
