We are looking for a Retail Sales Intern from May to August 2025. For May and June, you will be working full time in the field in the Greater Toronto Area, and you will have responsibility for selling and interacting directly with store level customers. For July and August, you will be based out of Brampton Office (hybrid work arrangement) working with our Corporate Retail Sales team or one of our Account Teams. This is a dynamic opportunity that gives you a chance to gain both retail sales field experience, selling and interacting with store level customers, and the opportunity to work on key projects that address current and future business needs for retail sales or customer account team.A day in the life of a Retail Sales Intern
As a Retail Sales Intern, you will work on a variety of initiatives for different retail accounts and product categories. This role offers the opportunity to manage relationships with retail stores, achieve sales objectives, and present your territory’s results to senior leadership. As you move into your assignment based at the Brampton Office, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse sales initiatives for various customers and product categories, while also contributing ideas for in-store executions. You will be involved in special projects such as customer analytics and retail store strategy development, aimed at maximizing the visibility and profitability of Nestle’s products.You will also:

  • Manage a variety of stores within a territory with the objective to build and develop both Nestlé’s and the customer’s business across all categories.
  • Execute all in store priorities within the framework of Nestle’s planification process
  • Plan and direct the achievement of volume and profit targets within your territory using effective merchandising, promotions, and selling skills.
  • Work with our sales operations team to develop actionable high value selling stories.
  • Assist with analytics, reporting, and various special projects for a customer account team.
  • Gain exposure to front line account experiences (merchandising, building rapport with various Nestlé clients, etc.).

What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, you will be a self-starter and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will have proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to gain insights and develop recommendations. You will need to be results focused, detail oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.You will also:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and report automation
  • Previous Sales experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with retail customers and internal stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proof of valid Ontario G class driver’s license with no restrictions and able to drive a car independently in the Greater Toronto Area
