We are looking for a technically savvy Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert to join our Products & Technology team in Toronto; someone who will always think well beyond the technical; it’s about the creative, it’s about the strategic.

The Products & Technology team is focused on using the newest technologies and approaches to deliver solutions & systems for the modern-day end user. In this role, you will lead a team that will build superb, personalized experience for our approximately 1000 employers and 500,000 members. You will be responsible for:

Defining and managing the product roadmap, setting of and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders including the senior leadership team

Providing strategic solutions and architectural mentorship for the use of Marketing Cloud within OMERS

Managing technical project team members and helping them develop and progress within their roles

Mentor junior team members in Marketing Cloud technology, Integration Technologies, and Salesforce best practices

Providing leadership to members of the Marketing Cloud product team in areas including process improvement, analytics, governance, and user enablement and training

Collaborating with business partners in the scheduling and prioritization of the development of outstanding member and employer digital experiences

Advising on best practices in terms of implementation and coding standards, and resolving technical issues

Acting as a knowledgeable liaison between technical teams and business partners

Educating business partners and other internal stakeholders on Marketing Cloud functionality and features

Keeping stakeholders informed of the latest technology trends in areas of marketing automation and web content management and how these developments could be leveraged to their advantage

Support pre-sales activities inclusive of participating in sales calls and proposal development

To succeed in this role, you:

Must have:

A proven track-record of Salesforce Marketing Cloud design and development, including at least 4 years of experience of complex project(s) using a variety of data sources

Knowledge in multi-business unit configurations and multi-cloud environments using the Salesforce Connector

In depth technical knowledge of marketing automation: advanced knowledge of email studio, web studio and journey builder

Experience in developing and implementing relevant testing strategies for operational tasks

Advanced knowledge of SQL and Marketing Data views. Validated AMPscript and SSJS experience. Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS for responsive email building

Deep understanding of CASL requirements

Deep understanding of email deliverability practices: supervising Marketing Cloud Reputation Center and logs. Defining deployment strategies and historical list hygiene to best design deployment segments

Excellent stakeholder management skills, leadership skills and communications skills

Would be at an advantage with:

Experience in building web service enabled applications (SOAP and RESTful)

People Leadership skills

Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications

Experience using Agile methodology
