Job Description:

The Nurse Navigator plays a crucial role in enhancing patient care and support by building awareness of the nurse navigator role within the community. This position involves actively participating in marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts to promote the benefits of nurse navigation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Collaborate with local organizations, health fairs, and community events to educate the public about the nurse navigator role and its impact on patient care.

• Marketing Efforts: Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to increase awareness of nurse navigation services, leveraging social media, brochures, and informational sessions.

• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community groups, and other stakeholders to foster a supportive network for patient navigation.

• Patient Support: Provide direct support to patients by answering questions, offering resources, and guiding them through the healthcare system.

• Feedback and Improvement: Gather community feedback on awareness initiatives and suggest improvements based on insights gained during outreach activities.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in community outreach or marketing is a plus.
• Passion for patient advocacy and support.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
