We’re seeking a Performance Engineer Intern. As part of our global Performance Lab team, you will contribute to enhancing our team’s ability to develop and test an expanding portfolio of applications and hardware. Your involvement will help us reduce request completion time, tackle more complex programming tasks, expand our testing coverage, and better serve our customers through innovative and improved development processes. We operate in a dynamic environment where multiple projects are active simultaneously, and priorities may shift frequently.
Preferred duration: 8 to 12 months
What you’ll be doing:
Run HPCDL and/or Gaming benchmarks on various GPUs/CPUs to collect performance metrics, with both manual testing and using our automated testing environment.
Develop software to automate the testing of and improve existing testing processes
You will configure computer systems with appropriate hardware and software to carry out the performance testing
Analyze the data and produce reports to be shared with our customers
What we need to see:
Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Strong programming and debugging skills, preferably with scripting languages such as Python.
Experienced and passionate in PC games PC systems, and/or Linux based systems and container platform such as Docker
Good data analysis skills and the ability to summarize findings in a written report
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Hands-on experience in software development and GPU/CPU benchmarking.
Experience with LLM and GenAI enabled applications development.

The hourly rate for our interns is 19 CAD – 75 CAD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
