Work location: Richmond Hill, ON – onsiteWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistants to join our team. Pharmacy Assistants are responsible for assisting the pharmacist with daily tasks, including filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience with robotics and central fill.Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacist and RPT with filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using both manual and robotic systems
- Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medication and supplies
- Prepare medication for dispensing, including counting pills and labeling bottles
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Complete administrative tasks, including processing insurance claims and managing patient records
- Follow all pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- Assist with central fill operations, including filling and dispensing prescriptions and managing inventory
QualificationsRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- Experience with robotics and central fill operations preferred
