The Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data transformation projects while supporting various business stakeholders across sales, investment, portfolio management, operations, compliance, HR, and marketing. The successful candidate will have proficiency working with BI, analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, Python, R, SQL, Power BI and strong understanding of data management. To optimize learning and ensure an enriching experience, this will be a 4 or 8 months internship, located at our Head office in Toronto.Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data Lead in the deployment of new data and reporting solutions, enhancing the company’s ability to make informed business decisions.
• Assist in automating manual workflows to streamline data management, reducing the operational risk to a target of 5%.
• Support data transformation and reporting initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with various business stakeholders, including sales, investment, portfolio management, operations, compliance, HR, and marketing.

What we’re looking for

• Currently pursuing in an undergraduate degree in STEM programs (Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or any other related discipline).
• Minimum 1 year of combined experience in data management and analysis.
• Experience working with Data Warehouse and Cloud Environment (Azure).
• Proficiency working with Business Intelligence, analytics and reporting tools (Tableau, Python, R, SQP Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data management, transformation, and automation processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the success of various business units.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
