Job description: Important: This is a full-time, paid, fixed-term internship for the Fall term (September to December). Reporting directly to the VP of Product, this is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience working with a cross-functional team to bring engaging content to life and help shape our players’ experience.What You’ll Do:Live Content Management & Promotions

  • Upload in-game assets and assist with content scheduling and promotions
  • Support the coordination of feature releases and live ops planning
  • Participate in theme planning and analyze past performance to inform future decisions

Community & Contests

  • Help organize community-driven events and contests
  • Aggregate and summarize player feedback from multiple channels
  • Identify trends in community sentiment and behaviour

Storytelling & Product Development

  • Assist with storyline creation to support themed events and features
  • Provide input and research for new product features and content

Data & Insights

  • Help create dashboards and monitor KPIs
  • Analyze product performance data and community trends
  • Support reporting for stakeholders and cross-functional teams

General Support & Project Management

  • Assist with slide deck creation and internal communications
  • Contribute to project tracking and documentation
  • Help keep teams aligned by supporting admin and coordination tasks
  • Support the coordination of feature releases and live ops planning
  • Participate in theme planning and analyze past performance to inform future decisions

RequirementsWhat we’re looking for:

  • Current enrollment in (or recently graduated from) an Ontario post-secondary program in Business, Marketing, Communications, Product, Game Design, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share ideas concisely
  • Strong attention to detail, so you’ll notice we’ve asked you to mention ‘Kattegat’ in your application
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and doing some basic data work (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Interest in exploring AI tools to increase efficiency and spark creative ideas
  • Excitement about gaming and a curiosity about what makes players engaged and happy
  • Eagerness to spend 3 days/week in our Toronto office, collaborating with teammates in-person

Bonus points if you’ve got:

  • Experience using Adobe Animate or other creative/design tools
  • Familiarity with Jira or other workflow/project management applications (Trello, Asana, etc.)
  • Any previous school projects, internships, or part-time work related to games, live ops, or digital products
  • Experience helping run events, contests, or online communities (even school clubs or side projects count!)
  • Creative writing or storytelling skills to support themed events and features
  • Passion for live operations games and excitement about current gaming trends
