One of our Telecommunication clients is looking for a Product Manager (User story, Content mgmt.)
Length: This is a 12 month contract with a strong possibility of an extension
Location: Toronto, ON (Remote)

Job Profile:
The Content team is looking for a Product Manager who is inquisitive in nature and eager to analyze end to end processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital product development & delivery (ie. apps).

Role Description:

  • Supported by both the Manager – Content Merchandising & Marketing and Sr Product Manager – Content PMO, the Product Manager III (Intermediate) will be a key prime on a major transformational project
  • The role is highly collaborative – working closely with Content team subject matter experts (SMEs), project co-primes, program Product Managers & Product Owners to deliver high quality content, products & services to our customers on-time, on-target, and on-budget.
  • The person in this role will be required to solicit & gather business/user stories from Content team stakeholders – with a strong ability to translate business cases and business requirements into functional requirements for the program PMs & developer teams.
  • This role represents the Content team stakeholders on a number of work streams feeding into the program. The person in this role will be responsible for communicating release roadmap and scope to Content team stakeholders as well as engaging those stakeholders in release readiness activities planning & execution.
  • Other responsibilities include documentation for change management, preparation of training materials & user guides, and user training support – all customized for the Content team

Team size and environment: supporting team of 10-12+ contractors

Qualifications:

  • business & user story requirement gathering
  • ability to translate biz requirements into functional requirements
  • business case / use case development
  • applied Agile experience
  • experience w/JIRA or other, similar development mgmt software
  • user training & change mgmt documentation
