Job Description & Summary A career in Sales and Marketing will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.
Our team is a client focused group that is responsible for positioning the PwC brand and driving long term growth. You’ll work with sales and marketing teams to drive consistency in executing our client relationship, and business development strategy, as well as driving our sales framework to help deliver value on key business initiatives.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key player in the execution of industry, line of service marketing plans.
Provides input into specific components of work/project plans (eg, resources, budget, execution)
Contributor to the planning of all aspects of event (in-person or virtual) management logistics, including critical path development, invitation development and distribution, registration management, seating plans, event team liaison, list management/creation, presentation development, ROI metrics, and other related support as needed
Creates, reviews and edits marketing materials to ensure content produced is of high quality, with consistent use of PwC guidelines
Responsible for the deployment of email campaigns using the Firm’s marketing technology/management tools
Collaborates and supports our cross functional team (public relations, design, digital and communications to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns
Writes content for a variety of external communications and client facing materials including social media
Collaborates with the digital marketing team to maintain and update relevant service pages on our PwC Canada website
Creates and posts resources to the internal portal to enhance knowledge sharing with PwC practitioners
Manages the risk, independence and branding guidelines processes for all potential sponsorships
Process and track the payment of invoices to ensure vendor payments meet all deadlines
Collects all metrics and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns and external events to the necessary stakeholders
Conducts ongoing competitive intelligence and external market research
Contributor to the creation and deployment of client surveys through various software applications
Collaborates with the business on building client and prospect lists. Manages the client lists for market-facing activities using firm’s CRM tool
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Progressive marketing experience
Experience in managing a budget in support of marketing and event plans
Working experience with Google Suite, Microsoft, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Preferred experience in a professional services firm or B2B marketing
Relevant Undergraduate degree or diploma.
The position will suit a detail-oriented self-starter who can work well within a local and national team, and excels in a fast-paced, corporate environment, while still effectively managing multiple priorities to deadline
