Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to perform a variety of financial tasks. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of the company, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and analyze financial statements
– Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting
– Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
– Maintain accurate and complete financial records
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial compliance
– Provide support for tax and audit processes
– Analyze financial data and create reports

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA designation is preferred
– 5+ years of accounting experience
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
