Job Title: Foster Parent Recruitment and Support Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foster Parent Recruitment and Support Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our community’s foster care system by ensuring a steady influx of qualified foster parents who can provide nurturing and stable environments for children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to attract and recruit potential foster parents.
  • Conduct informational sessions and workshops to educate prospective foster parents about the foster care system and the agency’s policies.
  • Supervise and support recruitment staff, providing guidance and resources to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to promote awareness and engagement in foster care opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, adjusting initiatives as needed based on data and feedback.
  • Facilitate Foster Parent Training sessions, ensuring materials are up-to-date and effective in addressing the needs of new foster parents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related area.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in child welfare, community engagement, or recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of Foster Parent Training Curricula and child welfare regulations.
  • Proven supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Demonstrated marketing experience with a focus on community outreach and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders including children, parents, and community partners.
