Job description: Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist Manager in the GCKW area. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of real-world experience, technical skills, and a passion for data correlation and statistical analysis. In addition, you will work with all stakeholders, presenting analytical findings oversee the Data Science team, duties and responsibilities. This opportunity is a one year engagement and 95% remote.Job Responsibilities: * Oversee the operations of the data science team, ensuring delivery of high-quality data analysis and predictive modeling.

• Apply statistical techniques to analyze complex, large-scale data sets and drive insights.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms.
• Coordinate with various divisions of the company to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
• Validate and review all data changes and developments attempted by the data science team.
• Mentor, lead, and manage a team of data scientists and data analysts, enabling them to improve their skills and effectiveness.
• Work alongside data engineers and architects to strategize and implement the next generation of data platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist and managerial role.
• Extensive proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages and drawbacks.
• Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team management and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of developing and mentoring team members.
