Job description: Location: Hybrid – Only 2 days on-site – Hamilton, ON (3 days can be remote)Description & ResponsibilitiesOur client is seeking a SOx Consultant to assist in preparing for a SOx readiness assessment. Reporting to a senior leader, this role will focus on business process related work. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience working on SOx engagements or have external audit experience.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting SOx field work.
• Support the creation and maintenance of process workflow, testing, documentation, and templates.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on project requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct assessments and provide insights into business processes impacted by SOx compliance needs.
• Adapt to dynamic project changes and think on your feet to provide innovative solutions.
• Work closely with client-facing leaders to ensure project alignment and execution.

RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience:

• Experience with SOx engagements and/or external audits.
• Familiarity with creating processes, walkthroughs, testing and documentation of workflows.

• Team collaboration skills, with a focus on supporting senior client-facing stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically.
