Job description: We are offering a 6-month contract for a Sr. Accountant position based in Toronto, Ontario.As a Sr. Accountant, your primary responsibility is accounting for all cash and investments, administration of employee reimbursement, accounting for capital assets and prepaid expenses. This position is fully remote.Responsibilities:

• Accounting for all investments and miscellaneous cash entries

• Weekly bank reconciliations and weekly cash report for executives

• Preparation of quarterly investment report for audit committee

• Review all expense reports filed on Concur for compliance with policy

• Reconcile corporate credit card

• Provide support, as backup, for accounts payable processing

• Preparation of monthly account reconciliation of capital assets and prepaid expenses

• Preparation of monthly HST returns

• Prepare quarterly reports and notes to financial statements

• Other duties as assigned

• Enrolled in CPA program, or working towards CPA

• 3-5 years related work experience

• Proven experience in preparing Bank Reconciliations and Cash Flow Reports

• Proficiency in Month End Close procedures

• Extensive knowledge and experience with SAP

• Advanced Excel
