- Work closely with the Branded Content, Sales, Development and Editorial Content teams in strategically ideating concepts for monetization across all Sportsnet platforms with an emphasis on digital and broadcast distribution of branded and talent-integrated content.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with SN Sales and Branded Content development leads to identify new partnership opportunities (either proactively or through RFP responses) and develop new ideas to win business for Sportsnet.
Budget and Project Management:
- Prepare detailed budget estimates and production plans to accompany every branded new content pitch and, once a new partnership is sold, work closely with Sales Execution Manager to develop a comprehensive workback schedule and manage the project from kick-off to launch.
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Provide feedback and guidance to internal and external partners to ensure that branded content always remains authentic, high-quality, and resonates with the national Sportsnet audience while delivering value and results for brand partners.
Content Production:
- Above all: produce sold branded content programs across all Sportsnet platforms on-brief, on-time, and on-budget, to a high degree of client satisfaction.
What you bring:
- Experience and track record of success in branded content production
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of and passion for sports
- Knowledge of and experience working with broadcast and social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok with a strong sports emphasis
- Experience working with business leaders, clients/agencies, and managing high-profile personalities
- Energetic, creative, entrepreneurial self-starter who is detail-oriented, solutions-focused and results-driven
- Collaborative team player who works well under pressure, effectively manages high volumes of work and multiple projects, and meets deadlines in an extremely fast-paced work environment
- Experience in and passion for integrated sales, with a focus on sponsorship marketing and brand partnerships, is an asset
