To achieve these goals, we are looking for talented and passionate individuals who want to collaborate and solve challenging problems and make a significant and lasting impact on Canadians.The Impact You’ll Make:As a Senior Analyst, Customer Insights and Business Analytics on the Strategy and Planning team, you will extract, manipulate and analyze data from our large datasets to drive insights around customer acquisition, retention and engagement strategies across SDM eCommerce and Digital Health. You will be the key analytics subject matter expert for the marketing and enterprise teams, which includes setting and managing forecasts and regular reporting, analyzing customer purchase and site behavior, and measuring performance results, while collaborating with key functional teams such as Loblaw Media, Digital Messaging, Business Intelligence, and Product Strategy teams. Your contribution will be key to building leading marketing and digital health strategies.We’re looking for a team player who is passionate about answering difficult business problems and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get deep into the data. - Leverage your expertise in data extraction and analytics (using SQL, Python/R and Google Analytics) to provide strategic insight and recommendations and drive marketing and product strategies that meet business goals (i.e. acquisition and retention)
- Build reporting and forecasting to understand sales and marketing performance as well as on-site / in-app customer engagement to better drive traffic and conversion
- Measure impact of marketing campaigns and promotional tactics that drive actionable insights and enhance targeting
- Work with BI and Digital Implementation teams to improve data accuracy, accessibility and automation
- Build, implement and refine customer models (i.e. CLV, segmentation, migration) and embed key insights into marketing initiatives
- Present and lead the creation of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting which includes but is not limited to traffic and customer analyses, post campaign reports and presentations
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner while incorporating best practices in data visualization and story-telling
Does this sound like you?
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree (BA, BCom, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or similar
- 2+ years in a management consulting, analytics, E-Commerce, or high growth technology company with strong business acumen
- Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a high capacity and deal with ambiguity, maintain focus while working on multiple complex projects independently
- Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate/storytell findings to all levels throughout the organization
- Experience in web analytics and data visualization tools such as Google Analytics, LookerML, Looker Studio or similar platforms is preferred
- Knowledge and experience utilizing additional data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R Studio) is an asset
