Overview of the Opportunity:

KPMG in Canada is growing and is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to bridge marketing and product strategy for our Digital Assets and Managed Services. Combining the insights of our business consultants with the deep technical capabilities of our technology professionals, Digital Assets and Managed Services help our clients accelerate their growth ambitions and improve business performance – creating future-focused, customer-centric, and SaaS enabled organizations focused on inspiring trust from their stakeholders.

As part of the National Marketing & Communications team, and reporting to the Director of Advisory Marketing, this role will be responsible for supporting and leading the marketing strategy, plan and programs tied our Digital Assets and Managed Services. This high-impact role will have a front row seat to the firm’s strategy in Canada, working closely with business leaders as they build a fast-growing line of productized digital assets and solutions. The Senior Manager will be in close collaboration with KPMG’s national, regional, and global marketing and communications teams to drive a compelling strategy and programs that build brand, relationships, and revenue priorities within our Digital portfolio.

The successful candidate is results-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced team environment while displaying exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and influencing skills, with a desire to be hands-on to deliver success. Building relationships and partnering closely with senior executives and internal leaders is critical to success in this role. The Senior Manager is a strategic and creative thinker with proven experience in implementing innovative marketing initiatives successfully.
What you will do

  • Strategic go-to-marketing planning, program management and execution:
  • Develop and implement product marketing and campaign plans and sales material, collaborating closely with support teams and monitoring progress.
  • Foster a “test and learn” approach to optimize campaigns with an enhanced focus on digital channels
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create, implement and review the adoption and effectiveness of marketing and communication programs to deliver on the objectives set in the strategic plan.
  • Consult with key senior stakeholders – Digital, Strategy, KPMG Lighthouse and National Advisory Leadership, as well as Geographic and Industry Marketing Leadership.
  • Enhance market profile and reputation:
  • Be the subject matter expert for Asset Marketing within the firm.
  • Develop and deliver programs to raise the external profile of our digital and technology practices and products across functions.
  • Collaborate with account development and marketing colleagues to integrate and implement an appropriate mix of activities that highlight our digital products’ value proposition
  • Develop sales enablement collateral to support client interaction and proposals
  • Provide marketing recommendations to support lead generation.
  • Marketing resource management and collaboration:
  • Collaborate with National and Geographic Marketing and Communications colleagues to activate the Digital Asset and Managed Services marketing strategy.
  • Access and leverage the wider National Marketing and Communications agency and resources, such as Creative Services, Digital and Social Media, Web, CRM and others
  • Continuous improvement and development:
  • Craft the overall product marketing program, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development. Support and develop best practice product marketing and communications.
  • Identify and monitor emerging trends and opportunities in the industry, and work with business leadership to build brand, relationships and revenue in key markets.
  • Embrace and drive innovative marketing strategies and techniques, translating the latest service and propositions, into practical approaches.
  • Budget management and marketing ROI:
  • Day-to-day management of established KPIs.
  • Effective use of allocated product marketing program budget and regularly report results to senior leadership to demonstrate value and ROI.

What you bring to the role

  • 7+ years of B2B product marketing / SaaS marketing experience
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree, preferably in a marketing related qualification Is required, with post-graduate as an asset
  • Experience at a technology company is an asset
  • Experience in a matrix organization is a strong asset
  • Professional services experience is an asset
  • Proven track record bringing new technologies and solutions to market
  • Strong interest in the technology sector with ability to understand complex technology trends and translate into simplified messages
  • You are obsessed with the customer journey and able to empathize and see multiple steps ahead to build incredible experiences alongside your product partners
  • An innovative and growth mindset with a test and learn approach
  • Collaborative leader with the ability to spot and leverage synergies across teams and organizations
  • Ability to identify and leverage best-practices and innovation to achieve business goals
  • Superior communication skills, oral/written communications, listening, and interpersonal skills
