This includes tools, technology and processes related to both the advancement and maintenance of this eco system.Reporting to the Director of Marketing Modernization, the Senior Manager role is responsible for providing both consultative support and advice on new projects, as well as leadership of any designated Marketing Modernization initiatives.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you might spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How you will succeed
- Strategic Leadership – Participate in the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing modernization strategy that is aligned with CIBC’s overall business objectives and Marketing’s technology and personalization roadmap. Analyze and incorporate market trends, client behaviour and the competitive landscape to inform current and future state proposals. Demonstrate both strategic and detailed oriented thinking to define and document appropriate business solutions and requirements.
- Project Management and Delivery – Oversee the planning, execution and evaluation of marketing transformation projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget. Manage multiple key initiatives at a time, both short and long term. Adhere to the bank’s various approved standards for project management documentation and delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile & Waterfall). Assess impact and develop effective processes and people change management strategies for successful project implementation. Ensure that initiatives meet or exceed their planned financial benefit and return on investment (ROI) objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with key project stakeholders, including Marketing, Product Line-of-Business, Technology and the Project Management Office, to ensure a cohesive solution, delivery and outcome. Work with external partners such as consultants, vendors and agencies, as needed throughout the various phases of an initiative, from ideation to design and delivery. Track and present progress, findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Team Development – Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Encourage knowledge sharing within the team, across Marketing and provide support to peers across initiatives.
