Job description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionSenior Manager, Talent Acquisition TechnologyWe are hiring a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Technology to operate and evolve our portfolio of Talent Acquisition technologies which complement RBC’s use of Workday as an Applicant Tracking System. These technologies support Candidate Relationship Management and Marketing, Contingent Workforce Management and Assessment. This role is part of a larger HR Digital Solutions team, and it bridges the gap between technology and Talent Acquisition ensuring a cohesive and efficient ecosystem. The ideal candidate is an experienced team leader who is both technically and functionally proficient.You will be responsible for business systems analysis, program planning, resource management and stakeholder management. You will be accountable to work with teams across Talent Acquisition and Technology to deliver on a portfolio of work that will span across, break/fix, changes, release adoption and transformation.This is an exciting opportunity to own system enhancements, drive efficiency in recruiting processes, and provide hands-on technical expertise to optimize our talent acquisition technology stack.What will you do?Technology Strategy & RoadmapInform and execute a strategic roadmap for all Talent Acquisition systemsPartner with Talent Acquisition Leadership to align systems with workforce planning and hiring goalsEvaluate and implement new recruiting technologies to enhance automation, analytics and candidate experienceTeam LeadershipLead and mentor a team of Business Systems Analysts and ConfiguratorsFoster a culture of innovation, agility and continuous improvementStakeholder CollaborationLiaise amongst Talent Acquisition, Marketing, HR, IT and Vendors to understand needs/challengesCollaborate, co-create and deliver cohesive solutions across people, process and technology to solve for these needs/challengesWork closely with vendors to manage services and support relationshipsSystem Implementation & OptimizationLead the implementation, integration and ongoing optimization of Talent Acquisition TechnologyEnsure systems are configured to meet compliance, reporting and process needsWork closely with vendors and internal partners to manage system settings, workflows, and integrations to ensure smooth functionalityMaintain up-to-date knowledge of system capabilities and recommend improvements based on best practicesBacklog & Prioritization:Own and manage the enhancement backlog, ensuring stakeholder needs are captured, prioritized, and aligned with business goalsPartner with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, the larger HR Digital Solutions Team, and IT to evaluate feature requests and determine the best approach for implementationTesting & Deployment:Lead and execute functional testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate enhancements prior to deploymentManage deployment activities and ensure seamless rollout of system changesProvide post-deployment support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performanceProduct Delivery & Support:Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues, ensuring system reliability and optimal user experienceAct as a primary liaison between business teams, technology partners, and vendors, facilitating root cause analysis and resolution of issues.Continuous Improvement:Proactively identify opportunities to improve system processes and user experienceStay current with industry trends and best practices in HR systems and talent acquisition to inform future enhancementsWhat do you need to Succeed?Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field; Job Summary: Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Technology
Role Overview:
RBC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead and enhance its Talent Acquisition technology portfolio, specifically in alignment with Workday as the Applicant Tracking System. This position is part of the HR Digital Solutions team and focuses on optimizing systems related to Candidate Relationship Management, Workforce Management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a roadmap for Talent Acquisition systems, ensuring alignment with hiring goals and evaluating new technologies for automation and analytics.
- Team Leadership: Mentor Business Systems Analysts and promote a culture of innovation.
