Job description: We are actively seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our banking client’s team for a 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role which requires the talent onsite at our client’s office in Toronto 2 days per week.Reporting to the Practice Chapter Lead of Optimizations & Personalization, the Senior Optimization Analyst (Marketing Data Analyst) will play a key role in understanding online customer behavior, identifying digital needs and goals, and measuring customer success.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, and executing optimization initiatives across public websites and conversion funnels. This includes A/B testing (Standard & Premium), multivariate testing, segmentation, and targeted testing programs. The Senior Optimization Analyst will ensure these initiatives deliver measurable value and enhance the client experience across all digital touchpoints, including public sites, conversion funnels, self-service platforms, and mobile properties.Advantages

Responsibilities
- Design and implement A/B (Standard & Premium), multivariate tests, and segmentation strategies, including test plan creation, execution, results analysis, key insights, and recommendations.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics, identifying trends, pain points, and opportunities to improve online sales, site performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and manage KPIs, website metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the optimization testing roadmap.
- Advocate for the value of digital insights and optimization initiatives with partners and key stakeholders.
- Identify revenue-generating and cost-reduction opportunities through in-depth data analysis.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer experience and increase ROI.
- Create presentations that clearly communicate analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
- Establish and enforce optimization standards and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovations to drive new optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, or an analytically-based discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital analytics and optimization.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform.
- Experience with web optimization tools like Adobe Target, Maxymiser, or Google Optimize.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite for creating reports, presentations, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, behavioral targeting, and digital customer experience.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and conceptual thinking skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience delivering presentations and reports to senior management.
