– 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
– 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fraud Investigator to join our team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into potential fraud cases, analyzing data, interviewing witnesses, and collaborating with law enforcement agencies. The Fraud Investigator will be tasked with identifying suspicious activities, gathering evidence, documenting findings, and presenting cases to management for further action. This individual should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in fraud detection, financial crimes, or law enforcement is preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully uncovering fraudulent activities and mitigating potential risks.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct comprehensive investigations into suspected fraud cases
– Analyze data and surveillance footage to identify suspicious activities
– Interview witnesses and gather evidence to build a strong case
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal counsel as needed
– Present findings and recommendations to management for further action

Qualifications:

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and investigative software
– Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and tools
– Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation is a plus
