Job Description

Role: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Ottawa

Type: Permanent

Salary: $85,000 – 95,000 per year

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team in Ottawa. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to work on a range of exciting projects and contribute to the success of an innovative and forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities:
– Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
– Interpret and analyze data from a variety of sources to provide valuable insights and recommendations
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies
– Build and maintain predictive models to support business decision-making
– Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
– Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics

Skills and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, with a focus on statistical analysis and predictive modeling
– Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools and programming languages
– Strong communication and presentation skills
– Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
– Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
