Job description: ​​Job Title: 2D Animator/Motion Graphics Artist Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-timeAbout UsWe are a small but growing creative photography and video production company based in Toronto, ON, serving clients across Canada and the USA. Our team of four works remotely, and as we expand, we’re looking for a talented 2D Animator/Motion Graphics Artist to bring dynamic visuals to our projects.About the RoleWe need someone skilled in motion graphics, kinetic text, custom titles, animated explainer videos, and infographic animations (graphs, tables, and charts). You’ll be working on various projects, enhancing our video content with engaging animations that go beyond what our video editor can handle.Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate motion graphics packages for video content (opening titles, lower thirds, callouts, etc.).
• Create animated explainer videos, including text-based and illustrative animations.
• Develop kinetic typography and animated text for social media and marketing materials.
• Animate graphs, charts, and infographics—often for our science and pharmaceutical clients.
• Update and refine existing titles and graphics provided by clients to align with new content.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2D animation and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator (or similar tools).
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, and animation principles.
• Ability to create custom motion graphics, kinetic text, and explainer animations.
• Experience working with infographics and data-driven animations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have, but Not Required)

• Graphic design and illustration experience.
• Experience creating animations for science, pharma, or corporate clients.
• Familiarity with 3D animation tools (Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.).
