Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Outreach and Program Development Specialist to enhance our program usage, raise awareness, and drive marketing initiatives within our organization and the surrounding community. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, organizing events, and employing creative strategies to engage the target audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development: Participate in the design and implementation of programs aimed at increasing community engagement and participation. Evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.

• Outreach Activities: Design and execute outreach strategies to promote programs to diverse audiences. Build partnerships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to expand our reach.

• Marketing and Promotion: Develop marketing materials, including brochures, social media content, and newsletters, to raise awareness about programs. Utilize data-driven approaches to track engagement and effectiveness.

• Event Coordination: Organize workshops, seminars, and community events to promote programs. Ensure all logistical details are managed to create a welcoming and informative environment.

• Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with community members, stakeholders, and partners to promote collaborative efforts and sustain long-term engagement.

• Feedback and Reporting: Gather feedback from participants and community partners to assess program impact. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on outreach efforts and program outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Community Development, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience in program development or community outreach preferred.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, marketing techniques, and data analysis.
• Passion for community engagement and commitment to making a positive impact.
