Job Title: Clinical Documentation Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to clinical documentation standards and support our marketing initiatives aimed at building strong referral relationships with physicians and physician practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Oversight: Monitor and validate clinical documentation to ensure it meets regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring quality and accuracy in patient records.

• Marketing Engagement: Actively engage in marketing efforts by establishing and nurturing referral relationships with physicians and physician practices. Aim to develop a minimum of two new contacts each month.

• Collaboration with Clinical Teams: Work closely with the clinical team to ensure they are aligned with marketing expectations and provide necessary support to enhance their outreach efforts.

• Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on documentation compliance and marketing activities, assessing the effectiveness of outreach strategies and identifying areas for improvement.

• Education & Training: Provide ongoing training and support to clinical staff on proper documentation practices and the importance of effective communication with referring physicians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration).
• Experience in clinical documentation, compliance, or healthcare marketing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and guidelines related to clinical documentation is a plus.
