The Global Commercial Services (GCS) Canada Marketing Team is a dynamic, fast-paced environment and offers exciting opportunities for career growth and development. Within GCS, the Prospect Marketing Team is responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies across all products and channels to successfully target and acquire high-value customers. The Analyst / Senior Analyst, Marketing , Digital Acquisition will be responsible for driving profitable acquisition across B2B segments (small business, mid-market, and large enterprise) through a variety of digital channels, including key internal programs, such as Member-Get-Member.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns and tactics to meet acquisition targets across digital channels.
  • Manage the day-to-day function of digital marketing, including channel management and optimization, creative assets and content, budget control, project oversight, and critical metric tracking.
  • Provide strong analytical capabilities by implementing key performance metrics for each program, evaluate the efficiency of those programs and make recommendations. Deliver timely campaign results and summary reports.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams across Legal, Compliance, Product, Brand & Public Affairs & Communication to ensure marketing activities remain aligned with American Express policies and brand objectives.
  • Work with external creative and media agencies to develop and execute campaigns that test the limits of digital media while meeting the marketing objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive environment, review technologies and explore new developments ensuring digital campaigns continue to be industry-leading and best-in-class.
  • Improve processes to optimize performance.
  • Share best practices with local and global teams.
  • Manage ad hoc marketing projects from inception to implementation and evaluation.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an equivalent marketing position
  • Comfort with driving and achieving sales acquisition targets
  • Ability to manage several marketing campaigns and projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility within a frequently changing environment
  • Extremely high accuracy and detail orientation
  • Ability to understand and document processes
  • Progressive development in analyzing business opportunities, recommending, and implementing actions
  • Development of business reviews and marketing plans
  • Previous Digital Marketing experience a plus
  • B2B experience within the financial services industry a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Bachelors University degree in Marketing / Business / Commerce, or equivalent combination of education and business experience. MBA or MA would be considered an asset.
