Job Description
The successful candidate will be a key part of the North American Digital Marketing & Customer Orchestration Team. This team is a dynamic, innovative team that is a part of the central marketing function within TD Bank Financial Group.
As a Sr. Manager of Digital Analytics & Measurement you will lead a group dedicated to analyzing and reporting on digital marketing performance (online and offline), as well as leading improvements in the use of data and business intelligence solutions for reporting and insights. Your role will be to enable marketing excellence and informed decision making through applying a deep understanding of digital data and analytics resulting in higher ROI, deeper customer relationships, and a better customer experience.

- Build for the future and provide people leadership; oversee people plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain a highly diverse, qualified and engaged team to fulfill current and future business needs
- Create and develop a team not only focused on developing insights but also presenting insights back to partners to drive strategic improvement
- Manage measurement methodologies and real-time BI tool implementations to provide marketing reporting across paid media and digital programs, focusing on automated, integrated results
- Enhance digital analytics capability by developing a “best-in-class” analytics teams that delivers meaningful insights that drive measurable business value
- Identify and champion digital media and analytics projects and services across all paid, owned and earned assets
- Work with vendors and/or internal partners to develop and integrate advanced techniques for performance measurement and attribution.
- Collaborate with partners on marketing challenges and provide fact-based analytical advice across paid, owned and earned digital activities that aligns to strategy & drives shareholder value
Requirements
What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:
- Over 10+ years of experience in analytics and marketing, preferably within the context of financial services. In addition, s/he will have a degree in quantitative discipline, science, engineering or business/finance is preferred.
- 5+ years experience managing small to mid sized analytical teams with experience in identifying and growing talent.
- Strong BI/Visualization skills and experience (with specific experience leveraging DOMO being an asset)
- Experience with methodologies for attributing marketing activities to outcomes including multi-touch digital attribution, and marketing mix modelling
- 5+ years of relevant experience in digital analytics data with specific experience with Google Marketing Platform and Adobe Marketing platform preferred
- A passion for analytics, high comfort level and interest in interpreting data and results; ability to ”tell stories” with data and facts
- Proven leadership experience including demonstrated ability to work in and across teams, manage stakeholders and align leadership
- Strong project management skills and a high attention to detail
- An overall dedication to producing high quality work and desire to continuously learn, develop and do better
- Analytically anchored problem-solving skills including the ability to leverage data to formulate statistical solutions to solve business problems
- A broad understanding of digital marketing data, analytical tools and methods and knowledge of where analytics may add value to marketing and/or business
