This person will partner closely with the SVP, Healthcare Strategy on Pharmaceutical and Healthcare accounts, to translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging, and PAAB-compliant communications. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and creative innovation to produce scientifically accurate and impactful content across various mediums.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary writer for Pharma projects, crafting clear, compelling, and compliant communications primarily for HCP campaigns/initiatives, some DTC.Present ideas persuasively with strong insights and rationale.Translate complex scientific concepts into creative and impactful messaging.Collaborate with the SVP Strategy on research to inform client strategies.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including creative, production, editorial, development, strategySupport new business development through proposal creation, pitch decks, and client meetings.Qualifications:6+ years of medical copywriting experience, ideally within an agency.Strong multitasking skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.Science/medical degree or equivalent experience.Proven ability to create PAAB-compliant and boundary-pushing content.Expertise in ideation and development across digital, print, video, and other mediums.Passion for the health and pharma industry with exceptional critical thinking and writing skills.Knowledge of multiple myeloma, gene therapies, oncology, rare diseases, or sickle cell diseases.In-depth understanding of PAAB and Canadian pharma regulations.Familiarity with PR communications, including media strategies, journalist relationships, and writing for news outlets.
