Job #4835 – Our reputable and dynamic client is seeking an Associate Manager of Accounting to join their forward-thinking team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate is adaptable and detail-oriented while possessing the kind of communication skills needed to succeed in a remote environment. Main responsibilities include:

• Contribute to end-to-end revenue recognition process
• Ensure appropriate application of IFRS 15 to complex customer contacts
• Build Excel workbooks to record revenue, ensuring appropriate revenue recognition throughout the term of the contract
• Perform variance analysis
• Review and prepare journal entries
• Provide support during term reviews and the annual audit by responding to auditor requests and inquiries related to revenue
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for revenue-related initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation complete or in progress preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid technical accounting skills under IFRS
• Proficient in Excel

Assets:

• Public Accounting experience
• Revenue recognition experience

Compensation:

• $80,000 – $90,000 salary range
