Business Overview
Client Experience Office (CXO) aims to provide a holistic “One Sun Life” experience to Clients as we help them achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. We design and execute clear, compelling, caring journeys to help Clients navigate some of the most important moments of their lives.
Through personalized, proactive and relevant content, we act on a deep understanding of Client needs on a multitude of communication channels—so we can be there for Clients when and where they need us.
To understand our Clients, we actively listen and learn by employing experts in Client experience, engagement, marketing, strategy, and digital, data and analytics.
Role Summary
Reporting to the VP, Client Experience Office (CXO) Strategy, Portfolio Enablement and Transformation, the candidate will be responsible for facilitating the CXO team strategic planning and prioritization, maintaining a strategic perspective of the overall CXO portfolio and execution roadmap (incl. strategic initiatives, on-going projects and incubation of Next Best Idea), devising regular performance tracking and measurement mechanism and tools, conducting ad-hoc purpose-driven strategic and business analysis, and leveraging executional team resources to enable strategy delivery.
The candidate will also identify internal cross-team collaboration initiatives by partnering with BU, Operations, and Tech in annual planning and periodic reviews.
What will you do?
CXO Strategy and Portfolio Management
Owns and drives CXO team strategic planning, review and prioritization process
Co-creates internal collaboration roadmap and identify initiatives by partnering with BU, Operations, and Tech in annual planning and periodic reviews
Reviews and tracks overall CXO portfolio, incl. strategic initiatives, on-going projects and incubation of improvement / innovation opportunities
Conducts ad-hoc purpose-driven strategic and business analysis
Leverages executional team resources to enable strategy delivery, incl. providing support for projects and agile squads
CXO Business Insights & Reporting
Devises regular performance tracking and measurement mechanism and tools
Owns design and reporting of strategic initiative dashboard
Conducts purpose-driven analytics and provide data-based insights for decision making
Communications
Drives CXO team related communications and events
Manages the contact point for Corporate Communications

What will you need to succeed?
University degree. Experience in consulting firms or other relevant corporate leadership roles preferred
Over 10 years of experience, which includes previous management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in strategic planning, management and enablement is strongly preferred
Experience in leading qualitative and quantitative analysis
Strong communication skills – verbal, written – executive presence
Build and leverage relationships with senior levels of the organization
Experience leading teams and developing talent is a plus
