The job description for the English Language Data Annotator position at TransPerfect is as follows:

Position: English Language Data Annotator (Remote, Canada)

Location: Alberta, British Columbia, or Quebec; remote

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday – Friday; business hours

Engagement Model: Employment; fixed term/temporary

Start Date: Immediate

Project Duration: Until September 2025

Role Summary:
The Language Data Annotator will analyze English language data to identify potential issues, contributing to the development and improvement of Artificial Intelligence systems. This role requires a high level of independence, adaptability, and accuracy. Attention to detail is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Classify and label information.
• Meet daily quality standards.
• Adapt to changing priorities quickly and efficiently.
• Track, analyze, and report issues.
• Listen to audio clips in English, identify, and describe underlying feelings and emotions.
• Meet daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by management.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Excellent listening, writing, and spelling skills in English.
• Must be of legal age (18+).
• Located in Alberta, British Columbia, or Quebec.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
• Good oral and written communication skills, with problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent time management.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Access to a computer and a headset to perform job duties.
