Salary: £15.00 to £17.00 per hour

A reputable civil engineering company is seeking a Highways Operations Officer to work on a variety of projects in the Dartford area. This position involves coordinating and managing highway maintenance and small improvement schemes, as well as inspecting and reporting on the condition of the highway network.

Key responsibilities include:

– Liaising with colleagues, construction teams, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
– Managing and coordinating health and safety compliance on site
– Inspecting and reporting on the condition of highways, identifying any necessary repairs or improvements
– Monitoring and reporting on contractor performance
– Assisting with the coordination of materials and plant supply

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of highway maintenance and construction techniques.
