Apartment Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, on-call rotation

We are currently looking for an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company standards and any government regulations. This includes preventative maintenance, repairs, grounds keeping, and other basic property maintenance tasks.

Duties:

– Complete work orders and make general repairs to buildings, units, and common areas
– Perform routine maintenance on building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
– Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the property and common areas
– Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
– Coordinate and oversee scheduled projects, renovations, and repairs
– Communicate with residents regarding maintenance and repair issues
– Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to safety and compliance regulations
– Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies

Qualifications:

– 2+ years of general maintenance experience, preferably in a residential property setting
– Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
– Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and operate power tools and equipment
