This is the Invention Age – and this is where you come in.General Summary:Deep Learning Research Internship (4 months Summer 2025)This internship aims to investigate and develop novel ideas and proof-of-concept fine-tuning techniques for Generative AI models (LLM, LVM, LMM) for the edge devices with compute, memory, and power constraints. These techniques can be extended to on-device fine-tuning with focus on memory-efficiency to enable on-device learning and adaptation.These fine-tuned models can be further quantized, compressed, and modified to optimize performance and accuracy for edge devices. Experience in large generative models such as Llama family and other transformer-based auto-regressive models, diffusion-based text-to-image models, vision-language models and fine-tuning algorithms will be leveraged for this internship.Work includes implementation of baselines and existing methods, comparative evaluation on benchmarks, and ablation studies.
