Senior Data Scientist / Marketing Analytics
Fortune 200 company in the energy industry is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for their Digital Solutions team. The successful candidate has a strong background in predictive modeling, machine learning, and marketing analytics. You will work cross-functionally with other teams to identify opportunities and develop data-driven solutions to improve business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the development of predictive models for customer segmentation, cross-selling/up-selling opportunities, and churn prediction
– Utilize machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights
– Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify opportunities for data-driven optimization of marketing campaigns and customer engagement
– Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis
– Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
– Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data science and marketing analytics
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics) required; Master’s degree or PhD preferred
– 5+ years of experience in data science, predictive modeling, and marketing analytics
– Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning
– Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g. regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks)
– Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) a plus
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Expected salary: $80000 – 100000 per year
