What you’ll do – The opportunityPosition: Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor (Contract)/Conseiller·ère en acquisition de talents (contrat)Location: Guelph, OntarioLevel: Individual ContributorHiring Range:58100to 72600Description:Reporting to the National Talent Acquisition Manager, the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor will support end to end recruitment for our regions across Canada. This is a hybrid position where you can work remote as well as in the office based in Montreal, QC (Rivière-des-Prairies) or Guelph, ON, 2 days in office, 3 days from home. Please note – this is an 18-month contract, starting in end of March 2025/April 2025.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process and life cycle (end to end), including initial assessments, screening resumes, screening interviews, evaluating applicants, following the process from sourcing to offer.
  • Campus Recruitment to partner with local schools (colleges, university) in several regions for co-op and new grad hires and attend campus events on behalf of Sleeman
  • Partner with client groups and HR team to build a recruitment plan that supports current and future business needs, develop position profile and discuss needs and requirements.
  • Provide support to Human Resources in their recruitment efforts, as required
  • Ensure that all candidates are managed, end to end, in Workday applicant tracking system
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with business leaders and HR Management; communicate and collaborate to leverage talent.
  • Provide professional advice and expertise when consulting with hiring managers on a variety of staffing needs, employment legislation, hiring and employment data, and interpretation of internal HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with 3rd party to conduct background checks
  • Develop & manage relationships with third party recruitment agencies as need be
  • Source candidates in the market by leveraging sourcing channels (networking, social media, campus, job boards, internet research, internal career web page and cold calling to identify active and passive talent).
  • Provide recruitment marketing support as needed, including partnership with communications team for social media posts

Requirements

  • Post secondary education in business administration, human resources or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of recruitment experience
  • Administrative experience including working with sensitive or confidential information, would be considered a strong an asset.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Bilingualism in English and French required (ability to speak and write fluently) as this role will be supporting teams in Quebec, Ontario, West and Prairies.
  • Good experience and knowledge of using social media and other digital resources to source and attract candidates would be considered a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of an ATS (applicant tracking system) would be considered a strong asset

Exigences

  • Études postsecondaires en administration des affaires, en ressources humaines, ou dans un domaine connexe;
  • Au moins 1 à 2 ans d’expérience de recrutement;
  • De l’expérience pour les tâches administratives, y compris pour le traitement de données sensibles ou confidentielles, serait considérée comme un atout majeur;
  • Excellentes compétences en matière d’organisation, de souci du détail et de gestion du temps;
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Outlook et Word;
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de service à la clientèle et de communication;

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • University Degree in Nutrition
  • Internship at an accredited program
  • Certification of Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Previous experience in surgical and medical bariatric management
  • Experience providing both individual counselling and facilitation of group sessions
  • Current Craving Change license and experience leading Craving Change workshops an asset
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint program
