Job description: Job Description:The Opportunity:WSP’s advanced water modeling team is growing and has an opportunity for a capable hydraulic engineer to advance their skills with some of the industry’s top experts in hydraulic transients and 3D simulation.You will take on small projects and contribute your efforts and talent to the broader, multidisciplinary team. You will gain hands-on experience in the field “measuring what you model”, and you will have opportunities to advance to take on larger and grow to take on your own projects and eventually coordinate or lead teams. Learning opportunities will include exposure to more complex projects using cutting-edge technologies and tools (transients, CFD), and/or project and people coordination with Client visibility.Why choose WSP?

Qualifications:What you’ll bring to WSP as a Junior Engineer:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in hydraulic transient modeling.
- Preference will be given to candidates meeting one or more of the following criteria:
- Experience with Bentley HAMMER software suite,
- Experience with InfoWater and/or ArcGIS software suites,
- Hydraulic systems instrumentation, and/or
- Pump testing or vibration analysis experience.
